My career as a professor of chemical engineering at Louisiana State University gave me the opportunity to conduct over $30 million in research, much of it focused on the environmental impact of chemicals. This background, combined with my love for wildlife and bird photography, has shaped my commitment to using my work as a platform for conservation awareness. 

I’ve traveled extensively, exploring the effects of habitat loss and environmental changes on migratory bird species, and have come to realize the urgency of protecting these vital ecosystems. Through my photography, I aim to share the beauty of wildlife while educating others on the importance of restoration and preservation.
